Bringing great snacks can make or break any great road trip. Sure, you could stop at a gas station and load up on chips and other garbage, but eating like that will make you feel horrible and not provide you with the energy you will need to have the best road trip. So, I have created the top 8 vegan snacks to bring with you on your next road trip. These snacks are easy to grab and go and may only require a small cooler. These vegan snack are not only tasty but they also will give you the energy you need to make the most of your next road trip.
1.) Trail Mix
Trail mix is the perfect snack for any road trip. Its easy to bring with you and is packed with a lot of nutrients that will provide you with energy. If you decide to pull over and go on a hike they will be easy to carry while giving you the energy you will need.
Nuts are another easy to grab food. They also will be at any grocery store around the world. So it wont matter if your road trip is across the US or somehow in Europe you can find this food anywhere. Nuts are high in protein and will help provide you with the energy you will need for a lengthy road trip.
3.) Wraps or sandwichs
Wraps or sandwichs are great for a quick lunch on the go while road tripping. You can make a variety of wraps. Another easy to grab food that you can find anywhere in the world. Grab some fruit like bananas, oranges or grapes before you depart for a big road trip.
Every road trip needs some junk food and for me cookies are the best road trip snack. Sometimes I will even just throw an Eat Pastry tin of cookie dough in a cooler before a trip (So Good!). Or make a batch of cookie from Chef Chloes cookbooks. She has the absolute best recipes for a variety of cookies.
PB&J's are staples for any vegan road trip. They are insanely simple and easy to make while being filled with protein. I personally think I had about a dozen PBJ sandwichs during my road trip across Iceland because they're cheap and a good source protein.
